Neji Baby Daddy: Don't Want To Let Go Just Yet

            You waited impatiently for Neji in your apartment. He was your boyfriend and he boiled your blood like no one else. You hated him, but yet you loved him. With all this uncertainty, you knew what you had to do.

     You paced back and forth impatiently. You heard footsteps, lazy footsteps almost. You spun around to find Neji, who engulfed you in a hug and kissed your forehead. You tore yourself from his arms and Neji looked hurt.

     “Neji…” you whispered. Neji nodded slightly. “It’s over. You have ignored me for the past few days and you never answer my calls. I just can’t be with someone who ignores me.” You said and you turned your back and began to cry, you couldn't believe that you had just said that.

     Neji grabbed your shoulder and spun you around and kissed you. You didn’t want to let him go just yet, so you kissed back. This was the Neji you remembered… But you knew this would only last temporarily so you figured it’s better to live it up.

     You guys were kissing harder now. It became more and more passionate with every kiss. You moved this make out session to the couch.

     Clothes began to come off. Before you knew it you were doing the dirty ;) and you didn’t want to stop it. You wanted it to last forever. But just as soon as it had started, it ended.

     Neji looked you in the eyes once he realized what he was doing and he put his clothes back on and left. You shot up and watched him as he went; he was glaring at you the whole time. Like it was your fault you guys did it!

    

     The next couple of months you felt sick. You decided it was time to take a pregnancy test.

     “Positive…” you whispered as you stared unbelieving at the little positive sign. “I have to find Neji.” You thought and you were off in a flash clutching your pregnancy test.

     You looked in every spot you could think of for Neji. You checked the training field, you checked with Gai sensei, Lee, Tenten, everyone. Everyone by now knew of your break up and they were a little puzzled by your frantic searching.

     You soon gave up and checked his house. You were relieved and frightened that he was home. You shuffled to his room that you knew so well, you took a deep breath and knocked.

     “Come in.” he grunted. You slowly twisted the handle and let out one last breath. You knew he’d kill you for this. 

     “N-Neji?” you stuttered and he spun around to glare at you. “What do you want?” he nearly spat. You became frightened and you felt your knees buckle. Neji then turned to a wall, glaring.

     You let out another breath and decided to get it over with. “I’m…pregnant…” you said face down.

     Neji whipped around fast and studied your face. “You're lying.” He hissed through clenched teeth. You slowly shook your head with tears in your eyes and you slowly took the pregnancy test out of your pocket.

     Neji snatched it and stared at it in disbelief. You started to cry harder now, your whole body shaking with sobs. 

     Neji’s lips began to tremble. You felt yourself loosen up, maybe he’d go easy on you and you could get back together and raise a baby.

     Neji’s jaw clenched. You felt all hope seep out of you. “I won’t raise it.” Neji declared throwing the test on the floor. “What?!” you practically screamed as your head shot up to look him straight in the eyes.

     “You left me, so now I’ll leave you and the baby.” Neji said sternly giving you an icy cold stare. You felt your heart sink. “But…” you whispered through quivering lips.

     Neji turned his back to you in a swift, cold gesture. “Get out of here.” Neji ordered. You didn’t want to pester him further so you did as he said. When you closed the door you started to cry louder and harder. You knew you couldn’t do this.

     Months went by and you occasionally saw Neji, but when you did he wouldn’t even look you in the eye.

    

     You soon gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who had Neji’s eyes. You named her Arisu and with everyday your baby girl grew she became more and more like her father.

     She became more and more heartless and apathetic. You feared the worst for Arisu. You tried and tried to make her not like Neji and more like you but she resented. You never gave up on Arisu, however.

     Years went by and Neji finally came knocking on your door. He asked to see Arisu and you agreed. He looked at Arisu asleep in her bed. “She’s beautiful…” he exclaimed, his breath taken away. “Yes, and she’s mine.” You said coldly. Neji looked at you a little shocked, you directed Neji to the door and told him to get out like he had told you so many years ago.

     “I’ve changed, _____” Neji begged. “Once a scumbag, always a scumbag.” You retorted and you slammed the door on his face. That was the last time he ever came around again.

     Neji made the effort to patch things up with you but you refused. All those years he had given you the same treatment so now it was your turn. After all, that was fair, wasn't it?
